Municipal Services 1) Municipal Services City Investment Policy: During the Monday, December 17, 2018, City Council Work Session, the Municipal Services Department presented a draft City investment policy. Based on Page 2 of 2 feedback received from the Council during the December 17 presentation and from the Investment and Finance Committee members, the attached policy has been finalized to establish best practices for managing the City's investment portfolio. It is being presented tonight for City Council approval. RECOMMENDED ACTION: To approve the City Investment Policy (or take other action deemed appropriate).
Public Works 1) Broadway Streetscape Improvements Construction Project Agreement with the Idaho Falls Redevelopment Agency: For consideration is a construction agreement with the Idaho Falls Redevelopment Agency (IFRdA) for the Broadway Streetscape Improvements Project. The project involves upgrading the sidewalks, landscaping, and irrigation along Broadway between Yellowstone Avenue and Memorial Drive. This agreement formalizes a $525,000.00 financial commitment toward the project by the IFRdA and stipulates that the City will provide design engineering and construction administration of the project, to be reimbursed by the IFRDA. This agreement has been reviewed by the City Attorney. RECOMMENDED ACTION: To approve the construction agreement with the Idaho Falls Redevelopment Agency for the Broadway Streetscape Improvements Project, and give authorization for the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the necessary documents (or take other action deemed appropriate).
