AFTER REVIEWING THE AREA AND COMMUNICATING WITH CITY STAFF, IT HAS BECOME CLEAR THAT PORTIONS OF SIDEWALKS THROUGHOUT THE STREET ARE ALREADY BEING CUT INTO AND IMPACTED AS PART OF THIS INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT.
WHILE I UNDERSTAND THAT THE CITY HAS AUTHORITY UNDER CODE TO ADDRESS DANGEROUS SIDEWALK CONDITIONS, I BELIEVE LIKE MYSELF, MANY RESIDENTS ARE STRUGGLING TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN WHAT IS TRULY A CODE COMPLIANCE ISSUE AND WHAT'S, UH, VERSUS WHAT APPEARS TO BE A BROADER INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT REPLACEMENT EFFORT THAT'S OCCURRING ALONGSIDE THE WATER LINE PROJECT.
MY CONCERN IS NOT SIMPLY ABOUT COST.
MY CONCERN IS TRANSPARENCY, COORDINATION AND FAIRNESS IN HOW THIS PROCESS IS BEING COMMUNICATED AND ENFORCED.
THE LETTER WAS VERY ASSERTIVE, AGGRESSIVE, EXTREME FINES, PUTTING LIENS ON HER HOME AND THE TIMELINES WE HAVE UNTIL THE END OF THE MONTH, UM, TO COMPLETE THEM.

PHASE ONE OF THEIR FIRST SERVICES WAS COMPLETED IN 2022, WHICH INCLUDED BASE INFORMATION AND SCHEMATIC DESIGN.
PHASE TWO INCLUDES SITE PLAN APPROVALS, DESIGN DEVELOPMENT, CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS, BIDDING, CONSTRUCTION, AND CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION.

THERE'S TOO MANY PROBLEMATIC ISSUES WITH THAT AS FAR AS, YOU KNOW, THE TRANSPARENCY OF THE PROCESS.
SO WE SETTLED ON THREE YEARS AS BASICALLY THE BEST PRACTICE TO KEEP A POLICY IN PLACE.
AND ONLY ONE FOLLOW UP ON THAT IS WE, THERE WAS THIS CONVERSATION WITH THE FAA, SO IF WE DO RUN INTO SOMETHING AND WE COULD COME BACK AND VISIT THIS POLICY IF WE DECIDED THAT, THAT WE NEEDED UPDATED 'CAUSE OF THE OUTSIDE AGENCIES COUNCIL RECORD.
YEAH, THAT IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT.
THIS IS SIMILAR TO OUR PROCUREMENT POLICY WHERE IT'S A LIVABLE POLICY, BUT WHAT IT DOES IS IT SETS THE, THE, BASICALLY IT SETS THE BENCHMARK FOR OUR UPCOMING BUDGET BEGINNING OCTOBER 1ST, 2026.

AND WE ARE ON TRACK TO RECEIVE OUR ALLOCATION.
UM, THE 2026 ALLOCATION OF 414,143 UPON THE APPROVAL OF OUR 2026 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN AND OUR NEW COMPACT THAT WE'RE WORKING ON, THIS IS OUR CENSUS TRACK MAP.

PROMISE RICH WAS ABLE TO ASSIST 75 FAMILIES WITH EMERGENCY SHELTER.
NEST PREGNANCY CENTER WAS ABLE TO ASSIST 15 INDIVIDUALS WITH PRENATAL CARE AND UNITED WAY WAS ABLE TO ASSIST SIX FAMILIES.
UM, AT DAYCARE, IDAHO FALLS SENIOR CENTER WAS ABLE TO PREPARE AND DELIVER 637 MEALS FOR THEIR MEALS ON WHEEL PROGRAM.
UH, WITH ONE FULL-TIME, UM, EMPLOYEE, WE WERE ABLE TO ADMINISTER THE PROGRAM, UH, COMPLETE THE 2025 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN, THE 25 PAPER, UM, ALL FINANCIAL REPORTS AND MANAGEMENT OF THE THE PROGRAMS.
